N.B. The candidates should
have a valid document for claiming their age relaxation as per the UPSC
criteria and or/ official notification. No further concessions/relaxation will
count, once fails to furnish or may debarred from the future examinations. For PwBD
category candidates’ relaxation up to 10yrs but should not be exceeded 56 yrs
as per the closing date of online application dt. 31.07.2026.
Selection
Procedure under UPSC Advt. No.08/2026:
Here, the candidates should know about the selection procedure
of the various post-wise recruitment under UPSC Advt. No. 08/2026 vividly.
As per the UPSC board, recruitment agency has notified that
before taking interview, candidates may face recruitment test (RT) or combined
recruitment test (CRT) with their providing information at the time of online
form filling at UPSC official site https://upsconline.nic.in. Once after the
candidates became shortlist for the interview, UPSC has notified their official
site for the next schedule. But the candidates are advised to submit their information
correctly and carefully at the time of form filling.
Whatever the documents are uploaded by the candidates at the
time of online form filling, these documents should be genuine and original
format. These documents are required to produce at the time of interview. Which
may be asked by the UPSC.
Out of total interview is 100 marks, the candidates must have secured 50 marks for UR,45 marks for OBC & 40 marks for SC/ST/PH
Those candidates, who have possessed the higher qualification
as well as essential work experience for their applying posts, should have
greater chance for interview call from UPSC board.
The recruitment test for the candidates is in several places
in India. So, the candidates are being scheduled for the venue as per the
prescribed centre selection at the time of online form fill-up.
Documents Enclosures
for UPSC Advt. No. 08/2026:
The
candidates should enclose their essential documents, which have mentioned below
1.Matriculation/10th
Standard certificate or equivalent mark sheet printed with date of birth proof.

How to Apply online form filling under Advt. No. 08/2026:
First, candidates must visit UPSC official website https://upsconline.nic.in.
Here. candidates should make
registration by providing their detail like Name, Email id, Mobile Number etc. (just
basic detail), in case of previously not registered for his/her account
creation formalities.
Then, candidates must
complete their registration process to a generate Universal Registration Number
or URN number, which is very useful for all upcoming future examinations under
UPSC recruitment process.
Now, candidates should read
very carefully before providing all information regarding their qualification,
experience and other details.
Once, candidates complete
their filling up process or complete application form (CAF), now next step is required
for uploading their live photo and signature of 3 times within a white paper by
black ink as per the prescribed format that will be mentioned there.
