(ii) Main paper: 

Once cracked after the prelims paper, candidates should take a note that, they have to complete the Detailed Application Form (DAF)-I, before they are appearing for the mains exam. Candidates should know the duration from prelims paper to mains paper maximum 3 to 4 months in hand. So, candidates should start the revision session of their optional subjects including Essay Paper writing, English Paper& General4 Studies-I, II, III&IV respectively. 

Important Note:- 

Candidates who will secure the minimum cut-off marks in General Studies Paper –I and will also secure 33% of minimum in General Studies Paper –II, will be eligible for main papers of UPSC. 


(iii) Personality Test: 

Here, we are discussing the basic requirement of traits for an aspirant to be a part of successful competitor. Before facing interview for UPSC, candidates must have all in one “concept model” in the field of various aspects like socialism, economic issues, environment issues, national security & different kinds of situational questions, they have right to ask.
